What is Grounding?
"Earthing" or "grounding" is like plugging into the Earth's natural energy. It's the practise of connecting physically with the Earth, often by walking barefoot on grass or soil.
Earthing lets us tap into the Earth's mild negative charge to top up on energy and rebalance our body’s systems, which are by nature bioelectrical.
Our modern lifestyles insulate us from this energizing ground force. Imagine it like recharging your life's battery. Read on for benefits of earthing...

A 2015 study by Oschman & Brown found that 100% of participants experienced significant improvement in blood viscosity and reduced blood clotting after just 10 minutes of grounding.
96% of users reported noticeably higher levels of relaxation during grounding, highlighting its calming effects.
According to infrared imaging in the same 2015 study, 93% of participants showed significant reduction in inflammation after grounding.
98% of users reported significant pain relief after 3 nights. Some alternated between grounding and not grounding, and the difference was obvious.
In this study, researchers found that earthing improves nutrient absorption, reduces intestinal inflammation, repairs damaged cells, balances the intestinal microbiome and promotes optimal body function.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I fit the sheet under my current bed sheets?
Can I fit the sheet under my current bed sheets?
Yes, you can use the sheet beneath your current bed sheet, as long as the covering sheet is made from natural materials like cotton or bamboo.
Some people prefer to use the grounding sheet as the top layer for more direct contact and a stronger connection. However, our multimeter tests have shown that a strong Earth connection is still maintained even when the Earthing sheet is placed under a cotton sheet, with additional layers of clothing or pajamas.
Additionally, as you lie on the covering sheet, perspiration and environmental humidity will naturally hydrate it, further enhancing the Earth connection.
How do I know if the grounding sheet is working?
How do I know if the grounding sheet is working?
As long as your grounding sheet is connected to a properly wired plug socket, it will be grounded, allowing you to experience its benefits. You can also use a conductivity tester to verify that your body is grounded when in contact with the sheet.
Can I wash and dry them?
Can I wash and dry them?
Yes, the sheets are fine to wash as you normally would with cotton normal in you're machine.
For drying, we recommend a low heat or ideally to hang dry them
Does it use electric?
Does it use electric?
No, the the sheet does not use electricity, nor does it come into contact with it. The sheet is only connected to the Earth point of the socket. The other prongs are made of non-conductive plastic, so there is no electrical connection. As a result, the socket can remain switched off, and the sheet will still function as intended.
Can I use it with an extension lead?
Can I use it with an extension lead?
Yes, you can use an extension lead to ground the sheet, as long as both the socket and the extension have an Earth connection.
Is it safe?
Is it safe?
The grounding sheet does not use or come into contact with electricity. Its plug is designed solely to connect to the grounding port of the socket, without interacting with the live electrical components. Essentially, it functions like an extension, channeling the Earth’s natural energy indoors to help keep you grounded while you sleep.
What does the science say?
What does the science say?
Studies have shown that grounding can help reduce inflammation and pain. A notable study published in the Journal of Inflammation Research found that grounding the human body during sleep can reduce inflammation and improve immune response. Researchers believe that grounding allows the body to absorb negatively charged electrons from the Earth, which could help neutralize free radicals and reduce inflammation.
Can the sheets be ironed?
Can the sheets be ironed?
Yes! Just make sure to do it at a low setting and you'll be fine.
